Lockdown [wild]life

An exploration into the macro world and all of the tiny critters that were willing to stay still (momentarily) for a photo.

All photos taken between the first and second lockdowns in 2020.

Finding solace in the small things…

The first lockdown was undoubtedly difficult for everyone. I used it as an opportunity to spend time in an area I had not really explored in some time - the garden. I picked up my camera and turned my lens to the tiny critters that were also seeking solace in the same space. It amazed me just how many species I came across in those first few weeks alone. Watching the garden transform and the insects come and go, it was a haven of life in a dark time.
